SPEED 40T DB is designed for this, for those wanting to race who commit to improving one race after another. We prefer to describe it like this: the ideal wheel for bikes on the grid, suitable for mixed trails, lightweight uphill, stable downhill, stiff and comfortable for long days of racing when every single watt counts, together with the lucidity for best management.

The new rim design of the SPEED 40T DB, with a wide nose profile that optimizes aerodynamic flows to save every single watt for easier, more efficient riding in crosswinds along with record stiffness of the spoke-hub section, supported by the oversize flanges and the Two-to-one that, despite the lower number of spokes and therefore lighter weight, enable elimination of bending during attacks and counter-attacks.

But perhaps the best thing would be to let the road speak for itself, those moments when the group is riding at the edge of its aerobic threshold when months and months of training are ready to bring results on the asphalt.

Not only technology but also character, because this is a carbon wheel that makes its mark right from the start, even without in-depth analysis. Based on available figures, impressions are confirmed by technical data and one example of many is the full-carbon hub and rim for tubular tires with the new layers of “longitudinal twill” transfer the force applied even better with an increase of about 10% compared to previous models.
